Visited as the weather outside wasn't good. Look new inside. Children were really happy with opportunity to dive from 1m and 3m diving boards. They spend most of there time diving. Sauna wasn't good. ... read more »
Pretty good overall. Gym well equipped with sea views, spa with sauna & steam rooms good, again with sea views, pool good to swim in, though lanes need a bit more organisation. Fast, med & slow would be helpful.
The place is a shambles. The diving pool is advertised as open but when you get there they have a fitness class in there instead. The staff don't want to know and blame the very poor management! Rubbish. Check in advance or you will be disappointed.
Newly built swimming leisure centre with race class 25m pool that is deep on both ends, diving pool and a nice water slide + play pool for the families. Unisex area is generally clean and staff are helpful and friendly... which meets my expectations as they are charging round about £5.50 for entry (similar to the prices of expensive pools in London as of 2015). Check the availability calendar before going.
Great pool but very disappointing that for 3 afternoons a week it is closed to adults so kids can have their swimming lessons. Not even 1 lane available for swimming is not great customer service.
The kids part is very good for small children but that is the only good thing about it. The last pool (Aquarena) was a better pool. I was expecting an Olympic sized swimming pool but only to get a small pool that is always sectioned off like a police state swimming pool with very little freedom and very few swimming lanes to actually swim!. So terrible for an adult who wants a swim after work or to just have a swim with your kids. The whole complex seems too small for Worthings ever growing community and last time I went with my excited then disappointed 4 year old it was so busy there was over an hour wait so we ended up driving to littlehamptons inspire pool which was a far more enjoyable experience. Why all that money was spent on a complicated pool design where the floor moves up and down and not on bigger pools is beyond me. Not what I would call a good swimming pool. :(
