Enjoy walking in the tranquil area dotted with interesting elements of historical significance at St Aldhelms Head - South West Coast Path walk. The limestone headland is rich in wildflowers which attract many butterfly species, including the rare Lulworth skipper. Another rare animal, the greater horseshoe bat, makes home in the caves and tunnels of the headland’s cliffs. See scenic views of the landscape at this unspoiled area of the British countryside. Visit the 800 years old chapel still in use, at the top of the cliffs. Mind the sunburns and bring protection.
