  • Visited a few times and took out membership here this year. Staff are helpful and the grounds are good for a hall of this size (slightly smaller). The village fete that takes place here in summer is a must if you like cake and tea - the gardens and walks are lovely. There's a nice little play area for the kids including an area for den building which my son loved. A couple of tea rooms and more on the menu than the standard fair. Well worth a few visits throughout the year especially if there's an event on.
  • Wonderful national trust property with excellent grounds that are highly suited to families. Good cafe and great play area. Visit very regularly, highly recommended.
  • Stopped here for a break from driving. Nice house in the countryside. Grounds large enough to spend an hour or so wandering around to stretch legs. Not so much to see inside the house, but the grounds are lovely.
  • Marvelous National Trust property full of wonder and beauty. Nestled just above Redditch the site and countryside are spectacular. Beautifully maintained gardens and volunteers who are more than happy to engage and talk through the house and garden. It's quite a considerably sized property with lots of walks and activities and as such is great for young families.
  • National trust members. Another fantastic NT family day out. Huge driveway and courtyard leading up to a truly magnificent house. Room after room simply oozing with luxury. Fantastic formal gardens leading onto orchards, vegetable gardens and fields. A very nice children's play area with a couple of picnic tables in there. As usual, excellent food. There are 3 eating areas. Excellent toilets and 2 baby changing/disabled rooms.
