Travel through the pristine English countryside on Isle of Wight Steam Railway. Spanning 9 km (5.5 mi), the railway runs between Smallbrook Junction and Wootton. Ride in classically restored carriages as the steam engines pull you through the natural scenery of the Isle of Wight. Get off at Havenstreet Station and visit the model railway exhibit and museum, or get a bite to eat. A one-day ticket allows for unlimited travel, so take your time exploring the many villages on the railway. Plan to visit during the annual Island Steam Show in August to see impressive displays of steam power and traditional fairgrounds.
