  • Lovely to have something like this so local however quite expensive for a few hours out, needs more to warrant the price or lower the cost I think  more »
  • Interesting day out and the shows are well done. I just think the car park, tea rooms and the place in general needs a lick of paint and tidying up.  more »
  • A superb place to cost with a wide array of different birds from small owls up to huge eagles. Reasonably priced entrance prices and throughout the day they have a variety of displays and meet the bir...  more »

  • On the whole disappointing. Staff not well informed and poor attitude. Asked several where the display was going to be (indoors or outdoors) because of the inclement weather. Response was a shrug that they didn't know but one or the other, and this was 10 minutes beforehand. Reception not very welcoming and didn't give any information of day's events. Display was reasonably good although only real enthusiasm from one of the 3 handlers. Other 2 were difficult to hear. Birds impressive however. Overall, the entire place was a little tired, in need of some love and care and got the impression of an establishment in slow decline. Reptile house also disappointing, not well maintained and concerns about welfare of animals. A better staff attitude would help enormously, apathy breeds apathy. A shame because a charity striving to do good work, but could do much better......
  • What a totally amazing and lovely place. The staff are so friendly and the bird shows were really entertaining. The kids also had a lovely time. Will come back again.
  • Very underestimated. More people should know about this place. It is amazing. Flying display with owls, hawks is unforgettable. Staff go above and beyond. Would definitely recommend, for children and adults.
  • There were a lot more birds than I was expecting and the aviaries were really well designed and laid out. The flying display was really good and the birds behaved perfectly. Staff were all friendly and approachable. Entry fee wasnt unrealistic either. Will be going back for sure. They even have accommodation for B&B..
  • Fantastic location Staff and handlers are very helpful Unable to do the flying display today as it's too hot for the birds. So the handlers put on a meet the birds , And other activities to keep everyone amused. Well done to everyone.
