  • Very pleasant staff. Toilets were smelly. Many of the cages were broken or empty and some (eg kookaburra) were not accessible. Other than that it was great. Could only stay for half the ondoor flying ...  more »
  • Good location. Friendly staff. Great variety of birds of prey. Good cafĂ© but seating may be a problem in high summer! Highlights seeing the Harris Hawk Bald Eagle and owls up close. Indoor flight disp...  more »

  • I paid for my Dad to go for the 1/2 day 'bird of prey experience' & I went along as the extra guest. It was a fantastic morning, the volunteer knew so much about each of the individual birds, and my Dad got to walk around with a number of different birds whilst having a tour. I was impressed with the layout, the cleanliness & the friendliness of the staff - there's a great cafe too to grab a tea and cake / they do hot food too. I highly recommend going along just to visit, or book a private tour for a more personal experience.
  • Staff very knowledgeable and obviously love their job. Stayed in one of their apartments. Tastefully decorated and a good size. One or two issues with the room but you expect this with the very reasonable prices they charge. Staying in their lodgings gives you free access to the centre. Never got round to trying the menu they offer. Despite having owls as neighbors, it was actually very peaceful.
  • The joy of this place is in the people that work there. You can't fake true enthusiasm and enjoying your work. Knowledge of the Falconers is excellent and what you get for your money, if you follow the schedule is excellent.
  • An excellent collection of raptors, particularly owls. The birds are well cared for by knowledgeable staff. There are flying displays throughout the day, indoors when it's raining. Very nice cafe, too.
  • Friendly and knowledgeable staff and a variety of different birds of prey. Really good day experiences
