  • The park has a well equipped and relatively recently updated kids play park (though they retained a couple of old favourites), a well maintained garden with bandstand, seasonal outdoor swimming pool (nice, reasonable price but busy during the day), bowls green, tennis courts, some parking, toilets and plenty of camping space. The gardens and kids park are open all year round and are well kept and clean. Being local we've always enjoyed it.
  • Love the outdoor swimming pool and the playground. Haven't tried the tennis but we have tried the mini golf in the past. Watch out for the over zealous poolside life guard (seriously loves her whistle). But the park is great and walking distance from shops and cafes if you don't want to eat at the park cafe.
  • The outdoor swimming pool is fantastic. The ice cream is amazing and inexpensive. Bring a picnic and stay all day!
  • A terrific campsite. It's pretty busy and gets booked up but it is lovely. Very clean facilities and a super pool. As they say #likeabath
  • It was a warm pool and beautiful scenery
