  • We were recommended this place by friends and had an enjoyable afternoon here on a weekend around a fortnight ago. Sadly, it rained heavily and so both shows were cancelled. When we told our friends.....  more »

  • I visited today with my sister and our children, it is a lovely zoo and it is obvious the staff care deeply for the animals. The bird show was the highlight of the visit and really stunning to watch.....  more »

  • Amazing place. All the animals are well looked after and have lovely enclosures. Keeper's are brilliant, very polite and could talk about the animals all day. In between shows they where bringing out snakes and lizards so everyone could touch, even the kids!! Bird show was AMAZING, do not miss it. So many flying all at once I didn't know where to look. Good day out, can have a stamp to come back in if you wanted to go and have something to eat or a look around the shops. All the negative Nancy's of the world will always bring a place down like this. Go and support a brilliant team and all there beautiful animals.
  • Visited today with family members. A very enjoyable day was had by all. The kids especially enjoyed it as they were able to get close to and even hold some of the animals. The free flight bird show was amazing, birds of prey flying just over our heads plus flocks of bright macaws, highly recommended not to be missed. Plenty of tables around to have our picnic. It was just a lovely day out.
  • If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. I was going to visit a few weeks ago, unfortunately it was raining. We decided to go on saturday bank holiday. Got there just after opening, there was enough parking, however as it is in the middle of halfpenny green vineyard there is a lot of traffic coming and going, so worth going early. Prices very reasonable for what it is, and easy to go around and find the exhibits. The bird display and mammal and reptile displays are second to none. The staff were really funny, informative and friendly. They were happy to let kids handle some of the smaller animals. This is one of the best kept secrets in the Midlands, and long may it continue!
  • Fab animal care. Fab staff. And an excellent volunteer Connor made this a great experience. Unsure as to why there are so many negative reviews. All species appeared in good health and being able to handle some of animals adds to this experience. Some of the species I do believe are in enclosures that should be bigger. Washing your hands between animals was not expected like it is at other places, this isn't really necessary as there is no real threat to the animals. It might be a small place but by having less animals you can see the care given is better and not rushed.
  • This is a fantastic day out for all ages. It is a small space but it packs a punch! The free flying bird display is amazing, and worth going to see that alone. The staff are fab and very knowledgeable and do their jobs whilst walking round holding snakes and lizards. It is clean and tidy and lots of picnic/eating areas to sit down at. Its alot more interactive than Dudley zoo and has a great atmosphere.
