  • A lovely morning spent at Wightwick Manor. The sun was shining in a blue sky. A lovely stroll through the gardens. Disappointed that there is no ‘big walks’. But the house more than made up for...  more »
  • First time visit, we loved this place! It felt so homely. The pre Raphaelite artwork and William Morris furnishings were wonderful to see. Due to Covid we could not see upstairs unfortunately but I’d....  more »

  • Lovely place to visit. Good parking (although very tight and full quite quickly) and great facilities, although you do have The Mermaid (Vintage Inn) nearby if you fancied a drink/food elsewhere, which is reasonably priced and also old fashioned decor. But the manor itself is spectacular, and great you can get so close to experiencing history in its real form. Great touch, too, that there was a lady beautifully playing the piano while we were there. Helpful historians also in standby to fill in the gaps or answer your questions. Gardens are spectacular. Great day out. Only slight issue, however, was a staff member stating he’d prefer not to do a particular room because he ‘couldn’t be bothered answering questions’ - very unprofessional.
  • Google maps takes you to the back entrance which is no longer used!! Otherwise a brilliant place to visit especially if you like the Arts and Crafts era it's awesome. Lovely cafe, shop and gallery. The volunteers in each room are very welcoming and knowledgeable.
  • Garden beautiful, lots of colourful flowers. Autumn colours not quite there yet. Only gripe that although they welcome dogs there's not many bins. One of the staff relieved me of the poo bag as the only bin seems to be by the cafe and down by the entrance. Could do with one round the grassy area where most people walk with dogs. Well worth a visit.
  • Huge Morris fan so this house was gold dust to me. Grounds are stunning and the cafe with the converted stables was beautifully renovated. Food great. Will be coming again.
  • We enjoyed an open air event, Comedy of Errors. It was a superb evening and the staff were incredibly helpful, particularly as I have some mobility problems. We would like to particularly thank Zoe, who was very kind throughout. The whole experience was excellent . Sue Oakley and Kath Alldritt xx
