  • Really like the house and gallery. One of the more interesting NT properties in the West Midlands. However, not for the first time has the coffee shop let it down. This afternoon we stood at the counter for a good five minutes with no sign of any staff to serve us. I even shouted 'shop' but that made no difference so my wife went and found somebody. The lady apologised and said you should have rung the bell. I said 'what bell?' and she pointed to the gap on the counter and said 'Oh, somebody has moved it'. Sorry, but I'm not impressed. I work in a coffee shop on a voluntary basis and simply wouldn't allow this to happen where I work.
  • My wife and I love it here. Very peaceful surroundings you easily loose yourself for a few hours. Cafe and toilets are good, friendly staff car parking can be limited if ground wet as some of parking is on dirt track and grass.
  • Very interesting house with lots of rooms to explore and things to look at. Compact gardens with wide variety of trees. Very neat walled garden with lots growing and a lot of fruit trees.
  • Had a foot operation 4 weeks ago so Wightwick was ideal for a gentle stroll round the gardens. Narcissi are still flowering along with primroses. Other shrubs and trees are bursting into blossom. A Canada goose is sitting on 5 eggs in the pool and ducks, Robins and a moorhen shared our sandwiches. We had flapjacks and cappuccinosin the tea room which were very good. Service efficient and friendly. We have already been in the house and art gallery on previous visits so today we just enjoyed the peaceful spring day.
  • A good National Trust house and grounds. Plenty of space for the children to run around on the well maintained lawns and some great events throughout the year. The Easter egg hunt was super fun and well organised. The cafe, shop and house are worth investigating. The only drawback is very limited parking on site.
