  • Very disappointed. Received three roses, two were OK, but the Grandpa Dickson was very poor. It only had two spindly stems, which were very close together, it's difficult to see how this could ever...  more »

  • Excellent experience at David Austin, lovely gardens to view and walk around. As you would expect loads of lovely roses for sale. Also has a cafe and tea room, the later is surrounded by roses in the seating area outside. Visited both and they were both good. The shop assistant took great care in packing the roses we bought and could order additional roses for delivery. These have arrived and well packed. I am sure we will visit and order again. Be careful you might end up spending more than you intended.
  • This is one of those places that you have to see for yourself. We have had numerous trips here, our most recent being on one of the wettest days of the year! It was still stunning. The rose garden is a delight, whatever the weather, and there are two lovely tea rooms where you can enjoy some yummy treats. You can be sure of excellent plant quality and first class advice. Can't wait to visit again. Altogether lovely!!
  • If you love English roses, you have to visit this garden/nursery. Gorgeous roses, well presented. The plant sales area has some nice companion planting, good quality at reasonable prices. The tearoom cafe is great too, with a good choice of cakes and coffee that tastes of coffee. Only downside is the narrow lane that leads to the nursery.
  • Quite beautiful! Went with my sister and a friend - we have never seen such a profusion of romantic roses. And they smell so lovely. Very nice afternoon tea as well - what a great visit!
  • Just stunning. Who knew you could get so many rose varieties. I spent the whole time sniffing different roses. They all smelt different. Such a peaceful place. Really beautiful arrangement and layout. Classic English garden. Really worth a f Visit. They have a cafe on site and a shop too. Didn't try the food so can't comment. But if you own a garden and want roses this is definitely worth a visit. The array of colours is just divine. Left feeling relaxed and chilled.
