  • Well worth a visit especially if you have younger children. My granddaughters adored their visit and ride on the trains along with spotting all the surprises along the routes..
  • A really great thing to do with kids.
  • Entertaining miniature railway and seasonal events
  • A remarkable place and well worth a visit especially if you have youngish children to take along. It's basically a miniature railway run by hobbyists with a variety of wonderfully maintained steam and diesel engines pulling carriages in an impeccably managed rural setting complete with a picnic area, green fields, woodland track and a large duck pond. There's old railway furniture throughout the site and track course, beehives and novelty ornaments including Snow White, a variety of teddy bears and stuffed chickens. The site is open from May to September Sundays only 2pm to 5pm with occasional special events during that period and throughout the year including the Christmas "Santa Special". Tickets are about £2.50 each for the "miler" ride and less for the "suburban" ride.
