I visit Gibson's every now and again. I have mobility problems but am not in a wheelchair. I love looking round, but like a lot of places, it is quite spread out, and there is nowhere to sit once you'...  more »

  • Brilliant farm shop. Lovely fresh meat, bread, cakes jam fruit vegetables. You name it they have it. Also nice cafe shop for tea & coffee. Execellent.
  • We had a Meat Ploughmans Platter and a Cheese Ploughman's Platter. Incredibly delicious, locally produced food. Very generous portions and very big on taste. Our service came with a smile and was very efficient too, with minimal waiting. The food itself worth every penny and for that reason we can't wait to go back! With the restaurant specifically we couldn't award the extra star due to the fact staff were limited and as a result some guests were left waiting a while. Also there was a squeeky door to the garden which another guest complained had been an issue for weeks (and was very irritating, a main door in constant use by guests and staff). A few kids were also watching Disney films on an iPhone in the corner - not a problem but it was incredibly loud and we would have expected staff to at least ask for them to turn it down. Lastly a car alarm kept going off for almost an hour, the staff didn't seem too bothered about that. Left with my ears ringing, only softened by the fact they sell Fruit Caramels in the shop area which definitely put a long lasting smile on my face!
  • Great farm shop and excellent cafe. Great for the old take away breakfast for the office...
  • Fantastic place filed with all sorts of things from seasonal gifts, food, gluten free foods, flowers and even a butchers, the cafe is brilliant and there is ample parking, all the staff are friendly and helpful.
  • We love visiting here for breakfast or lunch as a family. Really flavoursome freshly cooked food and family friendly. Would benefit from a kids breakfast menu, but only a minor point.
