  • We were there all day with our grandchildren. We all enjoyed the activities at the centre, including the outdoor one. The children were kept extremely well amused, dashing from one exhibit to another. Most of the children shared very well. We were disappointed about two aspects however: the food on offer in the cafe was very poor, particularly the children's boxes with their wafer-thin sandwiches which 'shouldn't be allowed' as my grandson said. And the planetarium show at 12.10 (using satellites in space) was boring, and was VERY poorly presented: it was often impossible to work out what the presenter was saying because of the weird intonation. So we would definitely recommend a visit, but take your own picnic, and don't bother with the planetarium.
  • I went one morning and stayed the afternoon the cafĂ© and activities was excellent and there's a Sunday Science club as well! We arrived by bus which was excellent as well!
  • Great place to visit with kids. Lots of hands on exhibits and the Planetarium is great.
  • Great experience for Children, my 7 year old spent 7 hours of excitement, learning about science through various activities, she loved it and now wants to be a 'Science Teacher'!
  • The monthly Wednesday adult science lectures are the best. Always an interesting topic with a great speaker. Then followed by a really cool planetarium show!
