Where to stay in Winchester

Hotels, B&Bs, and inns offer rooms on the upper floors of the historical town center's Victorian, Georgian, and Tudor buildings. These look out over the pedestrian streets, markets, and shops, as well as provide a convenient location to the main attractions. Cottages for rent near the River Itchen are set among thick trees near the water, but are still within walking distance of many of the city attractions.

  • Beautiful well equipped venue in the centre of Winchester. Nearby parking hard and expensive, best to use Park and Ride.
  • Very good service andxfoods polite staff but in cafe area there should be a area where women can take babys ti be brest fed without exposure to public or children in area
  • Such a beautiful building. Winchester has an amazing history and this building provides good information. So happy to live near to this City !
  • Lovely family-friendly location, that does standard fayre drinks and food, at very reasonable prices. Spacious inside - plenty of room for buggies at some of the tables. Toilets are modern and clean and their are baby changing facilities in both male and female WCs.
