Had a great day here. Walk through the gardens and park had a little bite to eat in the cafe and now looking to get a game of golf very soon. more »
Great way to spend and afternoon. We parked for free on the side road entrance then walked through woods full of squirrels to the house. Extensive play area with a lot of new slides and climbing equip... more »

Loads of parking but be aware you have to pay for it. A nice courtyard for drinks and ice cream. A play area for younger and older children. A woodland with sticks and logs to build a den with. A crazy golf site and high ropes/climbing area (booking advised) you will also find football golf. Brilliant for a walk and chill with a picnic.
Loads of brand new redevelopment. Fantastic for all ages. Crazy golf is great. If you just fancy a walk the grounds are beautiful. Lost a star, as for me with a little one, the toilets are far away from the play area. I have been back since the new crazy golf has been built, it's fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed it, and very reasonably priced.
Great for kids. Brilliant park. Suitable for all ages. Great walks and trains to sit on and go in too. Only downside was the cost of food. A bit on the high side but you can't have everything
Lovely place to take doggies and children, great play park and loads of nice cafes in the courtyard. Golf is also good with the golf shop currently being extended. Best crazy golf I've ever seen as well. Fun for all the family.
A lovely tranquil space that's big enough to lose yourself in without being too big. The recent work to the stables area has improved refreshment facilities no end and the new playground is surely the best childrens park in Wigan? Interesting to see how private ownership of the hall changes things but look forward to visiting the park throughout the year as the seasons change it every time.
