I have been to this stadium once to take in a Wigan Athletic match. The stadium is lovely, modern and has decent facilities. I would attend again but for the Rugby league rather than football because ... more »

The home of Wigan Athletic. Ample parking available (chargeable). Good views of the action from all seats. On-site catering is available at typical stadium prices. The pies have gone downhill though, I won't be getting on again.
As an away fan the DW Stadium is a hassle free venue to get to for a match. Reasonably priced, £22 for an adult ticket, easy parking close to the ground (£5). Easy to find and quick to get away from after the match. All seats in the away end offer unrestricted good views.
Decent stadium, staff were friendly but food and drink prices were quite high (as is the case for most stadiums)
It's a great stadium, but there are always GIANT queues for the bar, the pumps fail or are really slow, and staff don't seem to have a contingency plan for big games. Extra (temporary) pumps could be brought in, or cups could be pre-filled halfway so that every order just needs topping up and doesn't take ten minutes. Really dampens the mood having to wait for so long, and all it does is create less revenue for them!
Not the worst stadium but quickly becoming dated.
