  • The area it's good and not so hard to get to. The arenas are good enough to play and have fun. The paintball packages are reasonable so one would not expend too much if one knows how to handle or save the paint. Good place to have some fun
  • Pros: - the staff are very friendly and all passionate about paintball. They make the place what it is. - the equipment is top notch and modern. - the grounds are great and the maps are well set out. Cons: - no flexibility for the 9:00am start is I find borderline a deal breaker. The place is far from central London: assume c. 1:30 hour travel time by public transport from most places. This means a wake up time of 6:30am, which really isn't fun for a weekend, particularly if you have a stag party and go out the night before paint ball. During summer at least, why not start at 10:00 or 10:30am? This would make no difference in terms of daylight and would make the day so much more enjoyable. - the pricing business model is misleading I find. Basically the appealing entry fee is only around £13, which is very cheap. However you have no balls with this. For 1,000 balls which I think is the strict minimum for a day of paintball with 10 games, they charge £50. I think it would be much more transparent and fair if they announced the pricing straight away and charged people say £60 upfront with balls included. That way no nasty surprise when you arrive there. - the 'extras' pricing is extreme. £20 for upgraded gun. £1 for locker (really this should be provided free of charge!! Else how do you protect your valuables which you can't take with you at paintball?). £8 for gloves (again should be provided free I think) - beware of the 'free Dominos pizza' claim. What you get is the size of a free SLICE of pizza. Everyone was starving and highly disappointed when they saw their lunch arrive. You can upgrade for a larger size - which we would have done had we known the free pizza was so small, however nobody told us this and you have to decide on your lunch at 9:00am, then no possibility to change your order. Again they should be upfront with this. - no coffee!!! The excuse: not enough power from the generator, plus our group was not likely enough to want coffee compared to a group of parents waiting for their kids (having woken up at the crack of dawn and hungover, we were desperate for it!). It would not be rocket science to buy a bottle of propane to heat up the water, really.
  • My first time paintballing was a very fun and exciting. The staff were extremely helpful and could always answer any questions. They did an excellent job making sure that everyone played fair and that everyone was enjoying themselves. The equipment seemed very well kept and in good working order.
  • Amazing place and amazing staff. I have been here a few times and I just can't stop coming back. The staff are always so friendly and really get everyone involved in having a great day. The equipment is by far better than any other paintball place I have been too, and the range of guns available are just amazing. I would highly recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a action packed fun day with friends and family. 10/10
  • Bad from start to finish. Their selling technique tells you to pick any package for a great day, but spending anything under £40 means they then tell you that you won't have enough for the day and if you want to have any fun, you must buy the more expensive package. Makes me wonder why they mainly advertise a lower price which is insufficient to actually play the rest of the package you're playing for. Then they advertise lunch as a dominoes pizza, recieve wrist bands with dominoes on them, which then turns out to be from pizza hut. Not a big problem generally, but ruined one of my parties day because they don't like pizza Hut and would have brought their own food if we'd known. Then it's the complete lack of organisation from the people running the game. They instruct you not to shoot people close, and instead tell you to shout surrender, but then don't enforce the surrender and when they shoot you at point blank range they step in and turn you out. Also unable organise what is in the game. In this instance, they hide a briefcase on a map, and the team that retrieves it gets points, but they instead put an extra briefcase on the map which, when they realise their mistake, decided we don't get the points for retrieving it meaning we lose the game instead of winning. Put a real downer on the whole experience and I've been paintballing many times before, but this has ensured I'll find a company that is making sure they spend more time on the quality of the experience rather than the quantity of sites they own. And to ensure you know who can't organise, the Marshall who can't organise the games correctly is James, and the manager Dominic, who when confronted with the problem, is unable to say anything either way, and is more concerned that his name is going to be mentioned in my review than the fact that his staff can't organise games. Ruined the whole experience and ruined a good stag day otherwise. If you want a good paintball experience, I'd consider looking around before choosing go paintball.
