  • The Castle is a Victorian stately home with a very pleasant garden and an excellent tea shop. We spent a lovely couple of hours wandering around the grounds followed by a thoroughly enjoyable drink and snack served by helpful staff.
  • An absolutely lovely place but why not charge a £1 entrance and get a few gardners in to water and weed as there are some beautiful plants there. The foid is lovely and I would recommend it.
  • Beautiful setting, lovely cafe with tasty nibbles and coffee. Lovely little park crammed with great little things for little ones to play with and if your lucky great parking. 0arl does get busy at times. Definitely worth visiting
  • Beautiful castle, on a good day the bowls club are out playing on the lawn, beautiful gardens, great play area for younger children and a cafe tucked in the castle itself.
  • Lovely setting with moated castle and interesting interior. One or two guides inclined to give fictional answers to visitors' questions, others very knowledgeable.
