  • Lovely afternoon tea served in lovely surrounding within beautiful gardens. It is a very popular place to meet friends or take the children who can run around and explore the extensive gardens  more »
  • I have visited this place on plenty of occasions and it's been fine. My last visit was very disappointing as the lunch that I had was served up cold. I sent it back as did my two friends. They reheate...  more »
  • Went here for the regular antique fair. Had about 10 tables selling tat and brikabrak . Waste of time. Also it ain't a castle!  more »

  • Something we stumbled upon on our way out of this charming little town. Since it was the middle of summer, the gardens were a little sad but the groundskeeper was very welcoming. We didn't go inside the castle. There's a cafe, but we had just eaten. I could imagine sitting on the patio enjoying a cup of tea while looking out over the beautiful garden must be quite a treat in the spring. I'd say it's definitely worth a visit the next time you are in Whistable!
  • Today was an important family day for us and we celebrated it by going for afternoon tea at Whitstable Castle. The food was excellent, very well cooked and presented and so much of it. I can recommend it very highly. Thank, you Whitstable Castle for making our day special.
  • Beautiful and relaxing place. It is always busy each time we visit. It isn't a very big place and that is probably why entry is free. Car parking is available but limited. It is not really a castle, so don't expect moat and drawbridge with murder holes - it is a house that was built and themed like a castle surrounded by beautiful gardens. Great place to relax for when and if you get bored with beach and seafront.
  • Visited this venue several times and at different season times. The gardens are beautiful. We use the restaurant there each time as the food is exceptional. All cooked fresh and presented nicely. The staff are very attentive and friendly, and able to give advice on food allergies. Well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed. Thanks to all the staff, we will return soon.
  • There is alot to do at the castle. Guided tours are available and entrance is free. It is an interesting little castle which is available for hire for weddings, corporate events and parties. The grounds are well maintained and great for a picnic and has a very nice play area based on a nautical theme. The tea rooms do excellent cake and a good coffee at standard coffee shop prices.
