  • Spent an hour here on Sunday morning. The wave machine goes very half hour and the slide was enjoyed by both children. A nice leisure pool that's worth travelling for.  more »

  • A well equipped swimming pool with good family changing facilities, including large lockers and buggy lockers. The swimming area has a main pool with intermittent waves with a walk-in sloped shallow end, a small side pool with steps and a good depth for children practicing swimming, a separate pirate ship play area with water cannons and slides, and three larger racing slides. There is also a cafe and soft play area by the reception. Staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is free but is frequently very full, I suspect from people using it to go to the sea front on the opposite side of the road.
  • got robbed today while in Whitley bay. £21 for a family swim ticket for less than an hour and had to swim in a thimble.1 meter deep all the way round.safe to say we won't be back
  • Solely a kids pool. Stood in deeper puddles. No good if you want to actually swim. Good customer service and refunded without question though
  • Not as good as it was when it was "The Leisure Pool" but it's still a great place to take the kids. A must in the school holidays.
  • Very friendly staff, nothing a problem for them, nice range of resistance machines, free weights and cardio machines in the gym. Gets very busy after teatime, but first thing in the morning is quiet (ssssshhh, don't tell everyone!)
