  • This was a great place to visit, I loved the history of the family, Delaval, Astley and Hastings, they sounded quirky. The hall is worth exploring, the main building, the stables and west wing are fas...  more »
  • Really enjoyed our visit, the main house, although a ruin conjours up images of grand masked balls and opulent parties. The guides were all very helpful giving a vivid picture of what it was like before the fire. As always avoid the ubiquitous tat in the shop and enjoy the beautiful grounds. Games were available in the field for children and adults to enjoy. Recommended!
  • Wow what a fantastic place. All the staff are friendly and efficient. Beautiful building and magnificent gardens. Brilliant 😀
  • Lovely gardens, West wing well worth looking around. When East wing is renovated besides it's historical value was accommodation for German POWs. No indication yet as to when this attraction will be available
  • We had a lovely afternoon at Seaton Delaval Hall. The staff were very friendly helpful and professional happy to tell us all about the history of the hall. The gardens were beautiful. Also the little chapel was open and we were able to see inside. So amazing to think it was build while the vikings were here. Thankyou for a lovely afternoon.
  • Fascinating NT property. The volunteer guides are particularly friendly and knowledgeable. You are made to feel very welcome. The gardens are delightful. There is also a woodland walk and children's play area along with a separate children's play field. The café is pleasant with ample outside seating at busy times.
