  • An amazing hall with small grounds around it. As he main hall is not heated, wrap up warm for winter visits.
  • The facade looks really good and lead us to expecting something more. The inside although is a huge restoration project was very disappointing as it was more of a building site. I appreciate it was gu...  more »
  • Brill place to visit lots of historical monuments and a great family day out, not too expensive however food is pricey

  • I love Seaton Delaval Hall. I grew up down the road and now that it is accessible because of National Trust I just love visiting. Lots of history and stories to learn and if you're lucky the Norman Church - The Church of Our Lady, will be open for you to see. It's the oldest church in the UK that is still in use! It does need some work doing to the arch so be sure to stop by with a small donation!
  • Beautiful for summer visits very lacking in autumn/winter months nothing but grounds and main hall open shame there's so much more could be done with a beautiful estate
  • Its still early days here, it's not been long since the National Trust have taken it over. The house is impressive if still bearing the signs of the fire, however the grounds are marvellous.
  • Gorgeous sunny day and we went when there was a pirate themed day. Would go back on another sunny day as there is loads of space for sitting down and playing some field games. Very nice
  • A lovely place to visit, it's not large and only takes a few hours to walk around the gardens and see the house some of which is a ruin but worth a visit.
