Where to stay in Whitby

The majority of the town's lodging is near the small harbor at the town center. Consider a guest room in one of the historical buildings that line the water or on one of the narrow streets that branch off from the boardwalk. For views of the picturesque town and the cathedral, consider lodging inland and up the hill. Ask about themed rooms designed for the Whitby Gothic Weekend.

  • Food was better than expected for a garden centre, good value and generous portion. Nice view. Typical garden centre fayre in the shop
  • Terrible sandwich, milkshake poor thin not thick as suggested and warm. Bread was old and dry unable to eat it. Chips really poor too.
  • Have eaten here a few times and everything has been very enjoyable.Large indoor and outdoor eating get area with lovely views of Whitby.Garden centre ok but quite expensive.
  • Good quality plants... nice tea cafe area... with a fan view of WHITBY
  • Quirky ornaments and a nice wee cafe that does breakfast with a great view.
