Jurassic Skyline, Weymouth

3.8
The tallest structure for miles, Jurassic Skyline is an enclosed, rotating observation deck with a height of 53 m (174 ft). It offers a bird's-eye, panoramic view of Weymouth Bay, Portland, and the Jurassic coast--a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As the deck ascends and descends, it takes two turns of 360 degrees. • Really pretty area with plenty of car parks, well worth a visit especially if have children, beach is the best I have seen in this country, the skyline ride can't be missed as it stands out from any view point in Weymouth, it's good and some good info via a tanoy whilst on the ride. You can also get just as stunning views from various other places though.
  • Very clean quiet well ordered living space in a beautiful part of the world. The people running it were super helpfull and enjoyable to hang out with. It was a good time.
  • Beautiful family friendly beach. Lovely views across Weymouth Bay and the Old Harbour to wander round. Worth visiting the Nothe Fort and gardens with views to the Isle of Portland.
  • The view is incredible on a clear sunny day. I recommend getting a ticket in the bundle you get to go to the sea life center. Then you can use the Jurassic Skyline ticket within 2 weeks
  • Had tickets for this thrown in when we booked sea life. I would not have purchased tickets otherwise. The view is great but you are still sat in what is really just a giant rotating lift. A pretty underwhelming experience really. Unless you get tickets really cheap or thrown in with something else you want to do then I wouldn't bother.
