  • If you're dropped off at Brewers Quay in Weymouth, there's a large brick building with the sign "Brewers Quay". Below it there's a door way that looks deserted. We were walking back when dad saw a sig...  more »
  • Was really looking forward to a few hours here. The place was half empty with many areas just abandoned. What was on offer was very poor. Sorry to say it was a real let down.  more »
  • A real shame, used to enjoy visiting the brewers quay as a child and remember the lovely stalls, pub, gift shops and café. Came back just recently and it's empty and there is nothing left just a coupl...  more »

  • Disgraceful attitude toward disabled people. Cafe closed at 3.00. Doors locked in our face at 3 40 forcing an elderly disabled gentleman (who wasn't able to even sit down for a cup of tea) an additional walk to get to the car park. Attitude of staff on desk was rude and "couldn't care less" Disgusted and intend to take matters further. No wonder it's a dead and alive hole! ****** In response to the reply received below, his explanation is very far from the truth! The "gentleman" concerned knew from the start that we had a disabled elderly friend with us as I had already explained this to him when we came back with our friend to find the cafe was closed. Could see no sign of any boards stating times, only those offering tea and cakes! At that point I explained that we were disappointed to find that the cafe was closed just after 3.00pm on a Saturday. He was totally aggressive from start to finish and frankly has no idea how to handle customers, as he couldn't have cared less. His extremely rude and sarcastic replies to negative comments on Trip Advisor only serve to enforce my own explanation of the situation. Incidentally, the only area worth looking at was the lady who sold some beautiful knitted goods, who apparently is leaving this month. Very sensible of her I might add. The rest of the place was tatty and very run down. In my opinion, the sooner it IS turned into high end flats, the better, as it is badly run and is a very poor advert for such a beautiful town as Weymouth.
  • Terrible absolutely terrible shuts far too early. also if you want something to do while your there go to no the fort which is a superb museum for all the family
  • Marked down for closure and being replaced by high-end flats.
  • You could spend *weeks* rummaging around in this place. It's kind of like how you expect the interior of the TARDIS to actually be like.
  • angela vallance grow up, that was Neary 100 years ago it's part of history.

Where to stay in Weymouth

Weymouth is a popular seaside resort, so book accommodations along the Esplanade, the coastal walkway, early because rooms at the hotels fill up fast. Consider a room or apartment inland for deals and peaceful nights.
