Specialty Museum Museum
Brooklands Museum presents a slice of British motoring and aviation history on the site of an original 1907 motor-racing circuit. This historic site includes four heritage-listed buildings, large hangars, and preserved sections of the old racing circuit. Visit the site to see a wide range of exhibits, including race cars, motorcycles, and bicycles. Arguably the most impressive feature of the museum’s extensive collection is the Concorde G-BBDG, the first aircraft ever to carry 100 people at twice the speed of sound. The museum also owns a Vickers Vimy replica, built in America in 1994 to re-enact and commemorate the world’s first transatlantic flight. Check online for the Concorde tour times and other Concorde-related special events. • Just visited Brooklands motor museum with my dad. We also did the concord experience and both were fantastic. Quite an inexpensive day out. We easily spent over half a day doing both and at £11 for mu...  more »
  • I enjoyed walking round the Brooklands Museum - It was really interesting and well priced. The café is nice and you can pay a little extra to walk on the concorde!  more »
  • It was the lure of seeing a real life Concorde that drew me to Brooklands. And on a cloudy Tuesday morning in May, I had the first visitor tour to myself. It's a fabulous plane and the simulated "flig...  more »

  • A great site that exudes atmosphere. On event days the place really does come to life with the roar of the engines as car race up the start/finish straight. The cafe on site serves good food and the shop is well stocked.
  • We're currently here for a wedding in the main members building. It's a perfect venue and the staff are being wonderful. The bride and groom have laid on car rides on the old track piloted by staff members. Great fun! The rest of the museum is well worth a visit, but it is currently undergoing extensive improvement works so come back in a few months!
  • Always a pleasure to visit, a great choice of specialist days too to choose from. Great value membership with lots of additional perks and benefits. The best father Christmas I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. My girls (twins aged 6 and singleton aged 3) were completely captivated, will be going again next Christmas
  • Major historical significance for motor racing. Very knowledgeable volunteers to answer your questions. A great day out if you are into vintage cars and bikes. There is also a selection of airplanes and memorabilia some of which you have access to including Concorde although there is a small cost involved.
  • Great day out with lots to see and do. A wide variety of exhibits that will suit the whole family. From cars to planes to buses. I particularly enjoyed the old planes you can go into and speak to the volunteers.
