Stockeld Park, Wetherby

3.7
Enjoy adventure-play activities that change with the seasons at Stockeld Park. In summer, roller skate, ride go-karts or electric scooters, and check out fantasy-inspired installations in the Enchanted Forest. In winter, ice skate, cross-country ski, and visit Santa Claus in his grotto. The hedgerow maze with its castle tower in the middle is open throughout the year. Holidays bring new events--such as an egg hunt around Easter--so check the schedule before visiting. If something appeals, book in advance because many events are popular. • Excellent fun day out. Mostly outdoor play areas with plenty to spark children's imaginations. There's so much to do you really need a full day here. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food is a little expensive but as you would expect from an attraction such as this however the hot chocolate is amazing!
  • This is a great place for families, it was still in the summer holidays season so there were den building and craft activities, as well as all the various playgrounds etc. The boats are suitable for kids over 1.2m but smaller kids can go in accompanied, the electric scooter trail is for kids over 8yrs, otherwise a grown-up needs to be in charge of the scooter; and the 'go-kart' (actually just trikes, but still popular with our kids) track has single and double karts for smaller/taller kids. It's expensive but decent value considering everything there is. The indoor cafĂ© has a good range of hot food as well as sandwiches etc, the cakes looked nice too. The outside marquee does sandwiches, a huge range of ice cream and also slush flavours. There's also plenty of space provided for picnics, though I'm not sure if there's any that's undercover.
  • Took both my girls here last week and they had an absolute blast! The park itself is brilliantly well kept with loads of fun stuff for the kids to do. By the time we left they were both worn out. Excellent place
  • Nice place but very little cover if raining. No outdoor covered seating areas especially if bringing own food / picnic.
  • Can't say too much about the actual park as we were there for frightnight, but they have a cafe that serves the best hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and whipped cream with chocolate drizzle and a flake Mmm hot and delicious.
