Enjoy adventure-play activities that change with the seasons at Stockeld Park. In summer, roller skate, ride go-karts or electric scooters, and check out fantasy-inspired installations in the Enchanted Forest. In winter, ice skate, cross-country ski, and visit Santa Claus in his grotto. The hedgerow maze with its castle tower in the middle is open throughout the year. Holidays bring new events--such as an egg hunt around Easter--so check the schedule before visiting. If something appeals, book in advance because many events are popular. • We spent 4 hours in the Enchanted Forest, and although my 4 year old was a bit spooked in places, it was really well set out and had lovely play areas. The bumper boats were a huge hit too. We enjoyed...  more »
  • There really is so much to do here for adults and kids alike. The woodland walk is magical and there is a maze you can get lost in for ages, well we did anyway. You can also dry ski and ice skate if t...  more »
  • Me and my son visited on Friday. The weather spoilt itself for the first hour but luckily it brightened up again! It's a very outdoor orientated place so rain will spoil the fun. Although we enjoyed i...  more »

  • Great place. Lots for the kids and adults alike. Plenty of well placed and well equipped play areas. A nice restaurant though its a touch shambolic staff wise. The walk through the woods is nice and the shop at the end is well stocked and comprehensive though dont expect to come out with much change.
  • Bit pricey, but worth it. Better to visit at special occasions like Xmas or Halloween. Go at dusk. The whole place is lit up and magical!!!
  • Great place for an active family day out. Much more fun than the average theme park. We will definitely go again but will be taking a picnic as the only reason I couldn't give it 5 stars was for the price of food. Ridiculously high prices for at best mediocre food and the waiting time for said food was unreal too. In a nutshell highly recommend the place just take your own food (did notice good picnic facilities)
  • First visit here and it was lovely. Really festive. The enchanted forest was great with lots of play areas for the kids along the way. We did the nordic skiing but didn't get chance for the ice skating as it was too busy. There was a maze which was fun too. This place also does the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted. I thought the admission price was slightly high but we will probably visit again in the summer as there are different things to do.
  • The best day out at Xmas and Halloween imaginable for all the family and all ages. Great forest adventure on ski's, fab maze and ice skating, lovely cafe.
