  • A great local spot for blowing away the cobwebs after Sunday lunch! Unspoilt so far you can walk on the beach if tide out (which it usually is!) or on path if not. Lovely views over the Bristol Channe...  more »
  • This is a lovely natural beach and is great for dog walking. The view over to Cardiff is brilliant on a clear day and Steep Holm and Flat Holm are visible as well as the old Birnbeck Pier.
  • This is the place to enjoy with the family and dogs the grandchildren loved the freedom spent quite a few hours just walking great.

  • Dont know where to start this place should be closed down, it is filthy mould all over walls in chalets and dining areas, food is abysmal staff do not care care , first time stay and definitely last. Booked 2 nights i only stayed one could not face another night in this place. No refund or apology not a place i would send my worst enemy too, will be reporting to the relevant Health and Safety Departments. Take my advise stay away. Only gave one star as you have to leave at least one.
  • Real good value the food puts some 3 star hotels to shame.10/10 food the staff were fabulous.Clean and fresh bedding Cannot wait to go again the Chalets wants painting . we had a wonderful time. For the price we paid and the good food WELL DONE TO THE STAFF Due to the good value for money we can afford to go again. Ernie, & Ken Hatton,
  • My partner and I stayed 2 weeks ago for a midweek break, and had a wonderful time. The classic chalet we stayed in was spotlessly clean, the bedding was crisp and clean and the towels were like new. We had no complaints about our room, as for the food (as another guest said in his review) the meals would put most top hotels to shame. The entertainment in the evening was great and the blue coats put on a good show as well. after breakfast we were going out for the day, so accesable for western super mare, Bristol, taunton ect. We've booked 2 more stays while we were there, October and tinsel and Turkey in December. We'll book further breaks when there in October. Don't forget the managers special on Thursday. The staff on reception are very helpful and friendly. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
  • Real good value the food puts somehotels to shame. We lost our hot water on th last day but the staff were fabulous. Cannot wait to go again even if the painting of the chalets left much to be desired a it was on the carpet and in the hand basin. Besides the toilet leaking and their being no blind on th bathroom window we had a wonderful time. Due to the good value we can afford to go again.
  • An awful stay :( Swimming pool closed even though I'd been told it would be open, the walls of the room were stained, the furniture did not match and was scruffy and scratched and very worn, the bed sheets didnt cover the mattress and there was peeling paint around the window frame....oh and the cigarette burn on the bathroom window sill. To finish it off there was extensive evidence of building work outside making even the view ugly. Dreadful :( Take a look at the photos I have posted on line...I can hardly believe any reputable organisation would charge for a room of this inferior standard Pontins refused a refund when I informed them of my concerns. They did offer a price reduction for my next visit, however I feel this offer was woefully inadequate in the circumstances. This was my first and last stay at a Pontins establishment.
