  • Our guide David (the hat) was excellent, amusing and informative. In half an hour he taught us how to taste wine... and what wine... subtle and delicious. The buffet lunch was perfectly adequate. It could have been improved by the addition of fish options such as smoked salmon and/or mackerel and/or poached salmon. There were 2 stalls in the gents toilet but it was so small that a third person could not squeeze in to use the sink. Overall very positive
  • A number of people seem to be down on this place because it isn't a big, shiny corporate affair. If you go in with that expectation, you'll be disappointed, and best look elsewhere. However, if you go in knowing it's a relatively small business that still has that home-made from about it, you'll appreciate the interesting and amusing tour and the short intro to its still and sparkling wines. Being lucky enough to be there on a glorious summer's day made it even better. Their Vintage sparkling wine, by the way, is perfection.
  • Not impressed - compared to every other vineyard I've been to in Europe and Australia this is a poor effort. Not only is it tatty, tired and dilapidated I do wonder if wine is actually made there, as opposed to grapes being grown for others to turn into wine - some if the kit doesn't look like it's been used in years. And surely it doesn't need hygiene regulations either?
  • Wasn't impressed ...seemed like it could do with a good clean..)having been to the immaculate German French and Spanish producers the three thimble full of wine didn't impress at all.....nor the ambiance.....def not impressed
  • Bought loads of wine here after a healthy tasting session. Their sparkling Rose is the most surprising (pleasant!) taste sensation I think I've ever had from wine, english or otherwise. Like a mouthful of sweets or bubblegum - unbelievable! bought a load of it...
