I have to be honest, I went here with my wife and int felt like we'd entered a 'seedy joint' from the Simpsons. Odd characters looking haggard and tired on the slot machines and the atmosphere was ver... read more »
We had a fabulous evening with friends at the Genting Club. Gambling isn't my thing so we went purely for the social side and were rewarded in bucketloads. We had a first class meal with great entertainment and brilliant service. Yes, we were in a casino but there is a dedicated restaurant and entertainment area. And for anyone who enjoys a little flutter it would certainly add to the experience. But once my meal was finished, I was quite happy dancing the night away!
Christmas Party & Dining: Everything was ok until I received my desert. The waitress made an announcement that the Pear was finished but the rest of deserts were still available including cinnamon doughnut with ginger ice-cream (which I ordered). When it arrived I was not too pleased to see two old doughnuts with chocolate and vanilla scoops with it! The waitress disappeared pretty quickly but I managed to speak to a scary looking waiter who told me that it's all I am getting even though the menu said the doughnuts came with ginger ice-cream! I don't have any desire to visit this place again.
This is quite a nice Casino, however, I had the misfortune to order something called a 'rump burger'...I can only assume that it was off the rump of a malnourished donkey, as it was disgusting. I never understand why establishments which sell food dont just honor what people expect i.e. decent food instead of serving up grub that wouldnt even make it in a fast food burger van
Great atmosphere. Great night out all under one roof.
