  • We visited the restaurant twice, for Friday evening dinner and Saturday morning for breakfast. Incredible food and service. Thank you!
  • How do you showcase Britain to 6 French visitors? The Severn and Wye Smokery did us proud! On entering the Shop we could not keep track of them as they went from counter to counter, exclaiming at the ...  more »

  • We have been buying wholesale fish from The Severn and Wye Smokery for about 16 years. We used to run a Specialist Food Shop in Surrey and now have a Bed and Breakfast business in Crewkerne, in Somerset. Our first choice for a Smoked Salmon, Smoked Haddock and Fresh Salmon supplier was inevitably, of course, The Severn and Wye Smokery. All of our B&B guests love the fish that we are serving them at breakfasts and suppers. We cannot fault The Severn and Wye Smokery's professionalism, and with all of those years trading with each other, we feel that we have an excellent rapport with this great company. Great fish and great folks. We'll be in touch shortly for another delivery!
  • Fantastic! Not only is there an amazing selection of food to buy, the restaurant is first class. The food I have had there was amazing and faultless. Definitely worth a visit.
  • This establishment is fairly local to us. At 10 miles ish from home it's worth considering local because it is such a lovely place to visit, browse, and buy the most delicious fish, smoked things, cheeses, etc. I'd give a 5 star rating if it were not for the somewhat miserable chap who seems to be in charge of the shop floor and cafe. He actually waved me aside one day when I produced an old Tesco carrier bag (yes, even people who prefer local and organic products buy their cat food and loo rolls at supermarkets) in which to pack the items I was paying for at the till. Give him some training, and I'll up the grade.
  • Lovely place to go and visit. Has a selection of the most beautiful fresh food. Just make sure you have DEEP POCKETS as some of the produce is quite expensive. On the whole I would recommend.
  • An Aladdin’s cave for foodies & fish lovers! Stocks an exciting selection of local wines, cheeses, home made pies, pates, deli delights & a dazzling fresh fish counter. After we’ve shopped, there’s glorious Fishn'chips or other tasty meal choices on the blackboard, also puds, cakes & pastries. Informal seating, excellent cooking & service drawing locals & visitors alike. No table reservations.
