  • A real ancient Castle with historical significance. The area around is also beautiful. Head north along the shore for peaceful walk below the cliffs.
  • Think yourself over in Arran from this beautiful spot. Besides the views the waterfront has remarkably safe stones, none of the usual seaside so me causing slips. Just watch out for the big dog poos!
  • It's a good little castle to visit. If the weather is with you the view are amazing.
  • A cracking little castle. Go when it's open and the local preservation society will be on hand to give you the full history. The castle is very well preserved given its age. Once inside you can access the roof, which has wonderful views of Little Cumbrae and Arran, especially on a sunny day. You can also hire one floor for your own events.
  • Nice little find that I stumbled upon...pity is wasn't open...but made for a good excuse to stop and enjoy the views :)
