  • Very informative and interesting. Tours are very well done
  • Good afternoon out to learn about the Romans in Welwyn. Audio guide recommended. Available in most European languages too.
  • Remains of a roman bath in a large vault to preserve it under the a1m. Plenty of historical information. Very helpful staff, some childrens activity to keep little Ones happy . Several artifacts on display . worth seeing with kids out of school term ( but check opening times first)
  • This Roman bath was discovered in 1960, a dome ware created around it to preserve what is left of it. Together with voice guide and the stands of excavated items and history of the site you get a good incite into Roman bath culture
