  • Really lovely place to visit and wander around. My young son really enjoyed the Dragons Lair playground and we enjoyed the walk through some beautiful gardens. A "must" is lunch at the Bishops Table. They have free WiFi, which is handy given that the phone reception in Wells is AWFUL!
  • A beautiful place and so tranquil. Lovely staff who were very helpful.
  • +JMJ...My British friends enlightened my mind and broadened by horizons by taking me to so many places I had never heard of. Though an overcast, rainy day, I was delighted with every visible manifestation of ancient English history. That which was most captivating about this visit was standing on historic grounds.
  • Great place. Beautiful grounds. Enjoyed a couple of hours wondering around.
  • Lovely gardens, blissful and quiet. Cheap to get in. Had an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide take us round, thoroughly enjoyed it. House was mediocre but pleasant enough. They allow you to enter and leave throughout the day. Cafe there is perfectly reasonable and has fantastic views of the front of the house.
