Unspoiled, dog-friendly, and never crowded, Wells Next The Sea Beach draws visitors with its miles-long stretch of sand, views of nesting birds, and boats sailing into the channel that crosses the beach. Several paths lead to the beach from a spacious parking lot just over the dunes. Follow the steps up and down the dune and be sure to make a stop at the top and enjoy the view. Colorfully painted beach huts line one part of the beach, and amenities include a cafe and restrooms near the parking lot. An ice cream truck is often parked at the bottom of the steps. lot to do in this area, good for walking too. We took a boat trip to see the seals a round Blakeney Point, fantastic with seals basking on the rocks and swimming right near to the boat.
