  • Great day out for all petrol heads, fast, loud and fun. Family entertainment and good food. Not Silverstone, but hey you can't chat to the mechanics at an F1 event. Brilliant day out for the whole family. Fun fairs usually at the events. Basic but who wants all the glitz and hype. Santa Pod does exactly what it says on the tin. Fast, loud and proud.
  • My advice for food is to take a walk around to the pit side and eat at the pit stop cafe. Thoughtful menu accommodating adults and kids. I would recommend the specials.... chilli was made up and not bought in, gammon looked amazing, bacon was far better quality that other spots on site. Sue also takes the time to adapt the menu, Goulash for the main even was suggested. The events are amazing as long as your old enough to talk and put ear defenders on why wouldn't you enjoy that....!!!!
  • First time at Santa pod on the festival of power show and what a day, kids and myself thoroughly enjoyed our day. Be sure to take ear defenders (can be brought there) as some cars are unbelievably loud. Everything such as food and merchandise was overly priced but it's to be expected. Also the helicopter ride was worth the money.
  • A must do for petrol heads! Walking the pit area is really interesting as you can get up close to all the cars/ teams. Site is exposed and so can be chilly on a dull day. You do need hearing protection if you are seeing top fuel cars but can be purchased on site for a sensible price. Also worth buying grandstand seats on line before going.
  • We loved it (Festival of Power in April). THE long weekend to bring the kids of all the events here and top bill entertainment across the site. - £7 mini monster trucks, £8.50/ride on a real monster truck. £5 unlimited access to bouncy castles were worth it (6yr old). - Car & bike stunts / car football / monster trucks all fantastic. Aeroplane stunts, funfair, circus big top, loads and loads to do. - Worth getting a grandstand seat if you want to sit down - seats N50-52 were a good view, avoid first 2 rows up because have railings at eye level and you can't stand. See the jet cars - awesome. - Bring your own food and drink although loads there including a hog roast (£5/hog roast sandwich). Also bring ear defenders for kids or buy them there, ear plugs sold there for adults, and sun tan lotion. Notes: - Get there before 9:30 because long queues build up. - Avoid days with rain or cold (always windy) - grass parking so wellies if wet. - Any time before April - oh my gosh that will be cold. - Leaving gets chocca unless you leave before 5pm. Can be over 40 minutes wait. - Don't buy a £5 program, event times displayed near the food stalls.
