  • I attended Santa Pod yesterday for the first time and I have to say the day was mixed. The GTI Festival as a whole was good but I wasn't overly impressed by the staff. When I went to sign on for the d...  read more »
  • My wife and I often go to santa pod for different events during the year, we especially love going on bonfire night. Great atmosphere lots of entertainment and food stools available :)
  • We went to the European Finals. Sunday weather superb. Racing excellent, lots of choice of food - try the Indian wraps - toilets are clean and plenty of them. Lots to do other than racing. Can't wait ...  read more »
  • This place is probably the best place for any petrol head to get their fix. The main event is a fantastic time for everyone, and at a fraction of the price of the much slower and less exciting F1. Where else can you get up to 5 nights camping and 4 days of non stop action for £75? (Early bird price). Facilities are very good. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Pits are open 24hrs and the teams and drivers are always willing to have a chat. It's impossible to put into words how it feels when 2 Top Fuel dragsters go past on full throttle...... mind blowing machines which you will have to experience so that you understand it.
  • What a shame that the excellent Classic Ford Show was ruined by (yet again) Santa Pod's truly abysmal traffic control. I find it extremely hard to understand how a venue that hosts major events throughout the year never seems to learn from it previous mistakes. Exiting Santa Pod is always a miserable, lengthy and frustrating experience but this year the organisers surpassed themselves in terms of their total inability to clear the parking field in a safe and professional manner. My son and I decided to head for our car at 3.30 pm in order to avoid the usual confused exodus. Whilst we were fortunate in avoiding the 4 hour jam reported by some other visitors to the show, it took us nearly 2 hours to travel the 5 metres from our carpark out into the main queue of cars waiting to exit the Santa Pod site. The marshal appeared oblivious to the situation and seemed very relunctant to even ocassionally stop the main flow of traffic to let a few vehicles out. As result tempers frayed, horns were angrily sounded and things became an ugly and dangerous free for all (not want you want at a supposedly family friendly event). Santa Pod needs to be more considerate of its customers. Is it laziness or complacency that prevents Santa pod's management from taking action to improve matters. Also some of the blame must fall squarely at the feet of Classis Ford itself that must be aware that similar complaints are voiced year after year. As organisers of the show they are in a powerful position to pressurise Santa Pod to effect positive changes.
  • Really entertaining. Cool cars, motorbikes were a bit boring though. Once you've seen a couple they all seem very similar. The cars are all different though. Ear defenders or good plugs are an absolute must have, and you couldn't bring a young child safely without them. Very, very loud.
  • A brilliant day out for participants and spectators. Be warned though, food and drink is a bit on the high side like most event locations, so if you can take your own. Far more bang for your buck then other racing tracks like Silverstone etc. Have a walk through the pits and marvel at the vehicles that put on the displays everyone enjoys.
  • If the weather is good It's a fantastic atmosphere Wish i had a car to race... Again.. 😍 one day soon...
