  • Great little market some fab street food good selection of products apart from clothes some cheap and yuckies. Friendly helpful stall holders.
  • Limited range of eclectic shopping options here, all housed in quite small and unattractive units. Nowhere near as good as the old Watford market
  • Disgraceful that the Council have moved the market to an out of the way place that is much smaller and freezing in winter. I used to go to the market in Charter Place but not to the new location (or Watford come to that). Surely "Charter" refers to a right to hold a market in centre of town. The Council should find a place for the market within the new development, but I know that is a forlorn hope. Local democracy doesn't work any more. I don't think anyone wanted a big extension to the Harlequin (and whose bright idea was it to change the name to the meaningless INTU?) - it's just big money that has any influence now.
  • The stallholders are doing their best but they have been badly let down by the council.
  • Since Watford Market moved to its new location, it has suffered greatly as there are not as many, or the variety, of stalls. The entrance to the new market is nondescript and is easily missed, while the market, itself, is wrapped around the outside of a department store, hidden from view, and, although undercover, is still partially open to the elements making for a cold visit most of the year.
