  • We took the kids here whilst on holiday in Somerset. We were so disappointed. There were lots of empty cages/enclosures. The most exotic thing was the Raccoon. They said lots of animals had had to go ...  more »
  • Great little farm to wander over to from the haven site. Cafe was lovely with lovely views of the horses. Great shop full of yummy food.
  • Seems to be going down hill. Past years this has been the place to be. Lovely food and great for the kids. Now many animals have gone and the food was poor. A real shame, we loved it here.

  • Really great to see an independent business doing so well! Lots of choice in the farm shop and delicious Sunday Lunches available but please book first. A brilliant surprise for our family is they have donkeys there too, as well as other animals to see and a little vintage shop and so on. We will definitely be back.
  • Fantastic place to visit, the kids loved it and we ate well too! Highly recommended.
  • Excellent, kids loved it and best if all it was free. Lovely cafe with delicious cream tea.
  • I would actually give this place 0 stars if I could. Seems they care more about the cafe and shops than their animals. This is a farm and they should be the priority. Not sure why there are so many good reviews. They actually fail all 5 areas of the RSPCA's welfare needs. I will give examples; 1-Somewhere suitable to live. Many of the animals have filthy cages, too small, no sunlight or no shade from sunlight or rain, nowhere to escape from the public if they need to. 2-a proper diet including fresh water. Many cages had either no water, filthy water or water animals were unable to reach! 3-the ability to express normal behaviour. Parrots in a cage far too small to fly, enclosures to small, no suitable enrichment to enable animals in captivity to express their normal behaviours. 4-For Any need to be housed with or apart from other animals. One poor calf all alone in a tiny dark barn with only straw. Looked extremely sad, lonely and underweight? 5-protection from and treatment of illness and injury. Many animals in poor condition. One poor pony could barely walk and was obviously in pain due to lack of care for his hooves. I have reported this place to the rspca and anyone else who visits and sees that I am correct should do the the same. I will never return. So sad Had to edit to add this on; very strange to see such contresting reviews. 5 star reviews seem to pop up after bad reviews! Mmmm friends/locals???
  • We are local so visiting the farm on regular basis. What a privilege to live next to such a friendly place. On our visits we usually visit all the different animals, feed the pigs at the back, go have a dinner at the cafe and enjoy the bouncy castle and slide. We also often buy few things from the shop. Excellent family fun day!
