Walking through the ruins of Guy's Cliffe House, a cliffside estate that has seen different owners and purposes. In the 5th century, Guy of Warwick found his sanctuary in the hamlet, and Henry V constructed a chapel in the 15th century. The ruins you see today date back to a 1750s construction commissioned by a slave trader. A tour guide will inform you on the history of the house, including intriguing love stories and mysteries.     Went here on a ghost hunt with Paranormal Eye for my birthday, had a fabulous night, lots of spirit, really spooky, lovely place and great night out, we would definitely recommend.  more »

  • Amazing location! Wonderful history, tales of the legend of Guy of Warwick, a once beautiful mansion house and grounds, now a mere shadow of its former grandure but still fabulous to look around. The chapel of St Mary Magdalene is lovely. The caves over looking the river and the lookout point with stunning views. A very spooky place by night with many ghostly tales and encounters. Freemasons meet here but it can be hired for functions and weddings as well as meetings and ghost hunts. Guided tours are from £10 per person not £40 as someone else quoted on a review! Heritage Open Weekend every September see the place open to the public FOR FREE! And there are also tours with an afternoon tea on selected dates.
  • Awesome location, endless beautiful ruined areas which are fantastic for photography. Lovely owners too!
  • Steeped in history. Went on an open day organised by the Masonic Lodge. Now it costs up to £40 for a tour. Not sure of the value of that as I haven't done it. The house was used a a back drop for a movie and got burned down by special effects! The chapel and other interesting parts still remain.
  • Fascinating place with loads to see. Interesting grounds and story. Well worth a visit on the rare open days.
  • We did a ghost hunt experience evening here, the place is brilliant and full of history, such an interesting building...and very creepy in the dark!
