Walking through the ruins of Guy's Cliffe House brings history back to life. Throughout the past, the house had different owners, as well as purpose. In 5th century Guy of Warwick found his sanctuary at this place, and in 15th century Henry V built a chapel. The ruins you can today see, date back to 1750s when slave trader built it. The tour guide will inform you on history of the house, but the most interesting would be love stories, and mysteries. Take a stroll around the estate to enjoy scenic landscapes. • Amazing location! Wonderful history, tales of the legend of Guy of Warwick, a once beautiful mansion house and grounds, now a mere shadow of its former grandure but still fabulous to look around. The chapel of St Mary Magdalene is lovely. The caves over looking the river and the lookout point with stunning views. A very spooky place by night with many ghostly tales and encounters. Freemasons meet here but it can be hired for functions and weddings as well as meetings and ghost hunts. Awesome place. Love it.
