Walking through the ruins of Guy's Cliffe, a cliffside estate that has seen different owners and purposes. In the 5th century, Guy of Warwick found his sanctuary in the hamlet, and Henry V constructed a chapel in the 15th century. The ruins you see today date back to a 1750s construction commissioned by a slave trader. A tour guide will inform you on the history of the house, including intriguing love stories and mysteries. Take a stroll around the estate to enjoy scenic landscapes. Plan to see Guy's Cliffe and other attractions that appeal to you using our Warwick trip planner.

Fascinated place to see. Great to see renovation under way. It needs finance to help to bring it back to its former glory.

We visited the house and gardens on the off chance whilst staying in the area. We arrived to find it closed but when we approached some people who were working on the gardens we were invited to look around. Hollie and her children gave us a personal tour of the old ruins, the chapel and the grounds telling us much about the history. It really is a labour of love for all those involved in bringing life back to the old estate. Please take time to visit and support their excellent work!
