Walton Hall and Gardens is an English Heritage-listed building. Enjoy a variety of activities in the parkland and ornamental gardens, home to shrubs and trees from all over the world. Relax in the picnic area, make pottery in the park, and play “crazy golf” and bowls. Children will enjoy the play area, children's zoo, bouncy castle, and trampolines. Identify different types of fungi, observe woodland birds and maybe even spot a weasel. In the evening, watch for bats, foxes, and owls. Sample some homemade food at the Heritage Center Cafe.   • A beautiful place to wander round. The little zoo is great for the kids too. There's a large playground for the kids and lots of seating for the parents, always a winner. Well worth a visit. 
  • The best way to see Walton Gardens is park in Walton by the church and walk the 200m. Cheapskates avoiding the car park fees, which might allow you a game of crazy golf at £14 ish for a family!!!! The...  more »
