Walton Hall and Gardens is an English Heritage-listed building. Enjoy a variety of activities in the parkland and ornamental gardens, home to shrubs and trees from all over the world. Relax in the picnic area, make pottery in the park, and play “crazy golf” and bowls. Children will enjoy the play area, children's zoo, bouncy castle, and trampolines. Identify different types of fungi, observe woodland birds and maybe even spot a weasel. In the evening, watch for bats, foxes, and owls. Sample some homemade food at the Heritage Center Cafe. Check in advance for chamber music concerts and other events. Parking is available for a fee.   • Love Walton gardens, it has everything, mini golf, zoo, shops, historical, gardens and often ice cream van and bouncy castle. Go early to avoid busy queues and parking (expensive) otherwise great!!  more »

  • Fantastic place to spend a day. Great little animal zoo, park and fantastic walks. Country side and lovely food in the surroundings. Visit the stables. Bicycle museum and you can also learn to paint at turners painting school.

  • Great place for a day out. Lots to see and do, especially for kids. Highlights are a large and very well equipped children's playground, a children's zoo with plenty to see, adventure golf and pitch and putt. Not to mention the impressive hall and gardens themselves. Aside from the hall and golf, entry is free. You only have to pay for parking. Facilities are good too 👍
  • Great day out for the kids plenty to see and do for all the family. Crazy golf. Pitch and Put.Bowls.and animals to see.Plus a playground for the Young people plus a Thomas tank little train ride
  • Good parking facilities. Park for kids to play on & a small animal zoo. Beautiful gardens & pond. Cafe & toilet facilities are really good too. Great place to spend a few hours with the kids.
