  • Really good work has been done recently to improve the park. It's very busy so you will need to be patient. Animals fun to walk around and gardens nice. As it's only parking you need to pay for it's great value and a really nice day out can be had here with many things to do both paid for or free.
  • This is a great place for families on the outskirts of Warrington. The grounds of the 19th century house have a large children's play grounds with modern safe slides roundabouts and much more. There is a small but interesting children's zoo here too, with alpacas, donkeys, peacocks, goats, sheep, geese, chipmunks, red squirrels and more. It's free to enter the gardens, zoo and playground - it's just £4 per car to park for the day (2017).
  • Brilliant! Huge kids play area with well-weighted kids gates separating 8yr+ play things from smaller kids. Zoo section is also very good for its size. Lots of peacocks roaming with no evident clipping (these peacocks enjoy being here).
  • Have been going to this place since our 14 year old was in a buggy. Lovely park with playground, wonderful pets corner, gardens, crazy golf and visitor centre. Great for picnics in good weather and also has special events like the chili festival.
  • Lovely gardens & children's animal section is particularly good. Lots of playground equipment. Cafe is very basic & not very well stocked. Advise taking a picnic
