  • Over in Manchester for the weekend and had a free day on Saturday so decided to take my 8 year old son to Warrington vs Wakefield game - best decision of the weekend. Weather was amazing, exciting atm...  more »
  • We visit this stadium at least once a year, following our rugby league team - Leeds Rhinos. It's always clean and tidy, staff are friendly and we get a good view of the game.  more »
  • This is our 3rd time watching the game, and we use the VIP lounge with dinner. The value is well worth the extra and a great solution.  more »

  • I've just got my new car and the overall experience from start to finish with the salesman mark Wilson was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and everything ran through so thorough! Thank you
  • My fiancée and I bought a 435d from here and the quality of service is more than worth a mention. Mark Wilson was superb throughout. He moved heaven and earth to get a deal that worked for us, he was very knowledgeable re the car and made the test drive a lot of fun! And this isn't even mentioning the quality of the coffee and the offer to valet our other car! Thanks very much Mark, see you in a couple of years for the upgrade!
  • Excellent service from Mark Wilson and BMW. Bought a 1 series M Sport X Drive with 7,000 miles on the clock and the car was like brand new when we picked it up. Mark explained everything in detail and was a pleasure to deal with. Follow up service has also been good. My first experience of BMW and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company or buy another car from them.
  • Starting off I thought the experience was generally good considering I knew what I was doing going in to purchase a car. Sat down with the sales advisor and discussed deals and arranged a test drive for a few days later. Thoroughly enjoyed the test drive the car was absolutely perfect, couldn't fault it and I knew that's what I wanted, we discussed part exchanging my current vehicle (some damage) although I knew what it was worth having checked so with other companies. What I was offered was not worth mentioning however we come to an arrangement whereby we could add the remaining negative equity onto the new finance plan. Everything seemed ok, I was moderately happy with the deal as this was the car I wanted. Few days later, the finance broker needed bank statements (I misheard and thought they needed payslips) so by this time it was late on in the day, being in work and I didn't have 3 months recent bank statements so a trip to the bank in the morning was set. That morning my partner received a call as I'd started work early and couldn't be contacted via phone. He was told the finance had been declined based on not receiving bank statements (to which I was not given a timescale for) and another broker had accepted it but at a higher interest rate, my boat was pushed at the price we had agreed so I declined to go higher on the purchase so my partner called back and said I'm going to decline to which he mentioned he felt like the advisor on the other end was quite abrupt and wasn't interested now that he'd lost his deal. I then received a call from the branch manager a few days later stating someone had got their 'wires crossed' were the words on the voicemail and all they needed were my bank statements, at this point I had already got them however was abroad so called roughly a week after receiving the voicemail once home. I'd also received an email regarding a different colour which worked out cheaper so decided to pursue the price of said car. After calling 4 times on the same day and spoke to the sales advisor once and the receptionist twice requesting a call back every time, of course I received no call back. My partner contacted again a few days later to speak to the branch manager and was told he wasn't at his desk and to call back so again, we called back later and was transferred to him. After speaking with the branch manager my partner let him know how many times I'd called and nothing in return, apologies were made and he said the sales advisor would call in the morning regarding the new deal I'd received via email. No call back on the day however received a voicemail the next day after missing the call to say he was off on that day (again sounding quite abrupt and not too happy we'd called back complaining) my partner then called again and spoke to the sales advisor which was pretty much useless as he was in my partners words 'quite rude about the whole thing' we mentioned about going to the Chester branch to discuss the deal as we obviously weren't getting no where with this branch, again the sales advisor said to give him half an hour and he would call back with the deal, AGAIN.. no call back! I've since been in contact with the Chester branch and they couldn't have been more helpful however this whole problamatic situation has totally put me off dealing with Halliwell Jones in general and was absolutely shocked at such a big company to provide such an abysmal service with little to none customer service unless you take something at the price they want on the board! I will not be recommending this branch to anyone.
