  • I've been to the NHC for a 31st birthday lunch, a third date and a cream tea, it never disappoints! It's a little out of the way from Banbury but absolutely worth the drive. We've not yet been round t...  read more »

  • Me and my family came here today. The weather was on our side so it was lovely as we were walking around the grounds. The views are beautiful and the grounds are well kept. There is a park area for the children. Lovely demonstration gardens. The cafe food was nice, expensive food but the admission is free as well as the parking so they have to make their money somehow. I would higher recommend this place if you like nature and walks. Plenty of benches around the grounds so will be a nice area to have a picnic.
  • Nice food and a great selection of herbs (as you would expect.) If you go down the hill a bit there's a relaxing garden with good views.
  • Lots of plants and pots, and an excellent children's playground (including mini maze) to keep the kids occupied.
  • Went there today and ate in the Bistro, had Lasagne which I had to send back because it was cold, they apologised and said they would give me another portion in 4 mins which arrived and it was hot on outside cold in the middle (someone doesn't know how to use microwave). It was tasty and the side salad and garlic bread was good. After walking around went back in there for coffee and cake, coffee brought to table with a good few tablespoons in the saucer, and over handle of cup no apology. Not a good experience would not complain if it was one third of price and served in a lay-by.
  • Nice play space in the summer
