The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary shelters and cares for over 200 abandoned or neglected donkeys. Bring the whole family, pet the donkeys, and scratch their ears. The charity is completely supported by public donations, and you can help them by joining their Adopt a Donkey project. Choose the donkey that you want to help and you will receive colorful photos of your new friend and the charity’s newsletter twice a year. The site is pet-friendly, so if your dog is comfortable around donkeys, bring him too.   • Well I was very impressed, donkeys need looking after and they need a home, pleasurable visit it was.
