  • I brought my partner here for his birthday and he had such a fantastic time the staff where very helpful . We will be back
  • Another life lesson for me - check all details and perhaps look for reviews before going for anything. A few things to mention: When I hear things like: 'We have neighbours that complain about the noise so you should gear up at 3000-4000 rpm' then the only thing I have on your mind is to cancel the experience and request for a refund. Why should a driver who paid £120 care about the noise? With 3000 rpm one couldn’t really get much power out of the engine and is then being told by the instructor to gear up. The driver can't use mirrors because they are used by the instructor so perhaps another set of mirrors would allow the driver to see what's happening at the back and have a bit of better control? The 'circuit' is a converted small part of old runway; by the time you to get to 100 MPH you already see BREAKE sign and must suddenly slow down to 20 MPH to make a U turn what in my opinion does not convey the spirit of driving a fast car. Also, you get only 1-2 minutes of introduction to quickly get to know the controls in the car while parked, so there is no test drive beforehand and you must ‘learn’ the car while you’re driving. I would probably ignore this and forget quickly the whole experience but I have had a pleasure to join a friend a week before at different circuit (at similar cost) and can compare both. Sorry guys but unfortunately I cannot recommend you and would not book again with you. Two stars only.
  • I wanted to treat my (adrenalin junky) daughter and she certainly had a great one! The office staff were very professional and friendly and the paperwork that was sent was clear and helpful. On the day there were no ridiculous glitzy frills, just a fantastic slick delivery of an awesome driving experience. Geoff was a great instructor which added to her immense enjoyment (and the huge grin). The photos and video of the drive are excellent and have enabled her to share her experience. Thank you to everyone, we'll see you again soon.
  • the driver was not very well manned person when we asked his driving licence he was not ready to show.very bad experience.
  • The cars are obviously great, but the driving experience is pretty bad, as the track is literately one bend and a straight.
  • As I've never done a car experience day before I wasn't sure what to expect. I went for an early booking which began with the briefing which was well presented in a straight forward manner. Next was a drive around the circuit in a mini bus where the driver explained the course layout and how it should be driven around, pointing out the racing line to use. After that came the drive in a Lamborghini Gallardo which I got gifted by my brother last birthday. It was straight into the drivers seat with the instructor quickly explaining the car and off I went onto the circuit. The circuit was advertised as being 1.5 miles but it was more like 1 mile long, marked out by cones an old disused runway. The layout of the circuit is simple; a long straight, a sharp U bend, an even longer straight, a longer U bend followed by a quick right turn back into the first straight. I got to do 5 laps of the circuit, which the instructor talked me around in an encouraging friendly manner, helping you get the most from experience. The Lamborghini was certainly a thrill to drive, one I won't forget. U Drive Cars are a very well organised outfit, with a burger van at the event for refreshments and also a photo/video company who provides a video of your drive and photos at a reasonable cost. A tip for those planning to go and something which I will to do my next visit, hopefully next year, is to take advantage of the discounted drives you can do once there. Even if you take along a friend or your partner, they too can get a thrill drive at almost half the cost of the booking whilst there.
