  • Fascinating interior with all original equipment, knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers giving tours on open days, explaining all the workings in detail. Very well organised and a great family day out. Free admission but well worth a donation in the box to keep this rare windmill in good order for future generations to enjoy. It has a real educational value, as an example of the skills, craftsmanship and ingenuity that went into its construction.
  • Currently closed for building work (May 2016)
  • Very interesting however incredibly boring
  • Run by friendly people explaining the process of making flour and the history of the windmill. A lovely visit
