  • This was so much better than I was expecting! We arrived Friday at 6 ish camp fire going and toasted marshmallows, Saturday did archery, bush craft skills, paddle boarding, kids played in lake and pad...  more »
  • We returned from a family camping adventure weekend on Sunday. Amazing is the word I would use to sum up the whole weekend. We hired a bunk house (4 sets of bunkbeds) which we had between the 3 of us ...  more »
  • Came here for lunch - might seem like a strange place to come to, but we spent a really pleasant couple of hours here eating and looking around. I went to a summer sports camp here about 30 years ago ...  more »

  • Really love this place. Been coming here for years only rediscovered the cafe a short while ago. Brilliant staff, management and great freshly prepared food. Would definitely recommend this eatery to all ages. Also good fun watching the youngsters enjoying the canoes on the lake.... who needs cabaret.
  • My son and I attended an invitation to a birthday party here at Stubbers. It was a jet skiing afternoon celebration and yes it was fun packed from the moment he arrived. Stubbers has been around for many yrs I can remember as a child visiting the camping park which is soo much more now. There's a park packed with activities and things to do or absolutely nothing if you'd prefer to kick back and enjoy the surroundings with nature. Disabled parking makes things a little easier but assistance or a powered scooter would be advised. The staff I met wasn't very helpful almost awkward to approach, kids leading kids kind of mentality but all helps with keeping running costs down I suppose. It's my sons birthday soon and I must admit it would certainly be a contender for a fun packed afternoon burning off that pent-up energy for a group of young lads. Overall a pleasant visit and a nice afternoon.
  • My son went for a school trip and was there 4 nights. He enjoyed activities but was extremely unhappy about a tent for night sleeps. The tent was leaking and dripping on the children during their sleep the first and the second nights and he couldn't sleep sitting on the bed wide awake during the nights. In spite there was no rain that day and night the staff didn't bother to change that tent for another one. It is devastating to know that in sending the children there we trusted they would be properly looked after. As it appeared they did not care and did not react to this situation to make their rest well.
  • My daughter had a great day here but as myself and my sister were the only parents that stayed on site it is unfortunate that I didnt see the adults praising the children enough and encouraging them.. they were very quiet and considering they work with children I expected better. Also some children had more goes on the jet skiis then others, which had upset some children and when we asked why, they said there wasn't enough time?! That is simply not good enough. Besides that, they enjoyed themselves and were knackered out. a great way for your children to learn team work and get lots of exercise.
  • A superbly run centre for individuals, families, schools and other groups, with everyihing from raft building challenge to sailing, archery to rifle shooting, climbing walls to high wires, commando course to tunnelling. Overnight accommodation in comfy tents or lodge. Superb 'The Source' cafe, open to the public. Very well managed with friendly instructors.
