  • Incredible! The size of this market is crazy, never seen anything like it in my life! A must visit if you are ever in Tynemouth  more »
  • Eclectic range of stalls where you can find hidden gems. Good coffee and street food. Ideal for rainy Sunday mornings.  more »

  • Beautiful building with a good range of stalls. We found some lovely things and some delightful food. Parking nearby took a little effort so be prepared for a walk, even with a blue badge, and avoid all the permit parking zones! Or you could take the metro. There's not much in the way of seating so be aware if you have limited range.
  • Great market with something for everyone. Thanks to the recent refurb and expansion now the roof is restored there's even more food stalls as well. Skip breakfast and have something a bit more exotic while you checkout everything else.
  • Plenty of people selling food. Nowhere to sit. Plenty of space for benches The elderly and disabled are not wanted. Dog owners. Why not torture your dog and take it to this busy food market and feed it nothing.
  • I've always loved this market but right now they seem to have the flea market, craft and food balance just right. Some great retro stalls at the minute. It doesn't get quirkier than a deco cigarette box (need some candy cigarettes for it), a fat lava vase and some bacon 😂😍
  • The Sunday market has to be experienced. A real mix of good quality local artists, and local stall holders. It gives you a real taste of the local character
