  • It is always worthwhile coming upto the monument and to walk along the quays. It is a lovely area for walks and we often end up with fish and chips at fish quays :). 
  • This is an outstanding monument to an important local hero that not many people know. It overlooks the mouth of the Tyne and is the last view as you sail out 
  • Massive Statue,well worth a visit, part of British history, Battle of Trafalgar and all that. Great views of the sea and coastline
