  • This was honestly the best aquarium I've been to and the best part was the seal show and now seals are my favourite animals. There are some splashes but that is what makes it fun! This place is amazin...  read more »
  • Currently down in Whitley Bay for a few days, looking for things to do indoors and found this Aquarium...definitely not worth the £42 paid to get in...the animals are not that exciting. The otters wer...  read more »
  • Great animals including monkeys and a few reptiles but at nearly £10 each it's not worth it. You can walk around the whole aquarium in half an hour.
  • Typical aquarium with the added attractions of a rehabilitation centre for abandoned baby seals. It's well worth checking the times of the seal show and otter feeding, they're both worth seeing
  • It's expensive to get in. There are a lot of fish and some turtles. The seal enclosure looks quite good, however, there was not enough room for everyone so I didn't get to see it. The window to the underwater section of the seals' tank is very nice.
  • I took my two grandchildren aged 3 and 5 and i mobilise with the use of a four wheeled trolley. Place smells like a dirty fish tank from entry, all the way through. Very busy day during the school holidays and one member of staff working both the entrance and the shop therefor queues long and slow. I waited 20 minutes for a cup of cofee in the cafe and there were only two people in front of me (they were having difficulty changing a till roll). Small, Overcrowded, difficult for children to see in most tanks. The thing that bothered me most however, is the size of the tanks and the small space which the creatures have to live in. In particular the Conga Eels. Will not be returning!
  • Very nice place. Great offer on Tuesday meant discount for adults for having a toddler there. Good location. Only criticism is that quite a lot of the animals couldn't be seen in the day. A few empty tanks.
  • Good day out but price is probably a little steep for what is there. Not particularly big so does not take long to walk round and see everything.
