The small church or chapel is located on a hill in the middle of an old cemetery with a view of the rolling hills of Kent, near the town of Tonbridge. The absolutely silent atmosphere and seclusion of amplifies the effect of the "AHA moment" you experienced when you enter the Interior. By the Hill, the light from the outside can fall almost unhindered through the glass window: A play of colours of blue and yellow. The history of the large window in the chancel to move everyone. An absolute stroke of luck is that the artist completed this window also decided to equip the other window of the Church. The visit comes during the day and will be charged no entrance fee. A donation or the voluntary purchase of many post cards or descriptions/explanations is actually, of course, because in the free entrance and preserving for the future is funded. Оче... read more »The only church in the world, where all the stained-glass Windows created by Marc Chagall (commissioned by a local landowner, whose daughter drowned). Church plain, medieval (separately stored and old stained glass Windows). A very unusual sight, holistic ensemble. The beautiful scenery around. Everyone within 50 miles should visit this church, it's a very special place.. Try mid week and you can have an exquisite work of art all to yourself, just open the door and let yourself in! Don't forget to leave a donation in the honesty box.
